What Sarah Offers

These offerings are designed as distinct pathways of support - each meeting a different phase of the birthing journey. You may feel drawn to one, or arrive at another depending on where you are in your process.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, you’re invited to explore each pathway and sense what kind of support feels most aligned at this time.

  • Online · 1:1

Individual mentorship offered across pregnancy and preparation for birth. Sessions are relational and responsive, shaped by what is present for you rather than a fixed program. This work sits alongside medical or midwifery care and respects your autonomy and decision-making. Mentorship may be engaged whether or not I am present at your birth.

    What this mentorship may support

    • Nervous system steadiness through rest, meditation, and integration

    • Exploring birth through the lens of consciousness rather than control

    • Practices including Vedic meditation, mantra, and breath

    • Practical Ayurvedic guidance, including daily routines and simple supportive recipes

    • Space to reflect on identity shifts, fears, expectations, and relational dynamics

    • Preparation for the postpartum period and the support it requires

A deeper container of support across pregnancy, allowing time for trust, continuity, and integration to naturally unfold. Sessions are typically spaced monthly, with flexibility according to your needs.

This option may suit women seeking ongoing emotional and nervous system support, or those wanting to engage pregnancy and birth as a conscious transition.

    Vedic Meditation option
Women engaged in Pregnancy & Birth Mentorship are offered 50% off the Learn Vedic Meditation course, should they feel drawn to learn. • In-person birth support designed to hold you in labour and birth with calm, attuned presence, grounded in nervous-system support, practical comfort care, and gentle advocacy.

This offering is limited to a very small number of women each year to ensure depth of presence and continuity of care.

  • The postpartum period is a time of significant adjustment - physically, emotionally, relationally, and internally. Yet support for the mother during this time is often brief or absent, even as life continues to shift beneath the surface.

The Postpartum Descent offers steady, respectful support as a woman settles into life after birth and begins to integrate what has changed. This pathway recognises that postpartum care is not only about recovery or routines, but about orientation — to the body, to identity, and to what has been lived through.

This offering may be entered at any point: during pregnancy as preparation, in the weeks or months following birth, or many years later. It is available whether or not we worked together during pregnancy or birth.

This work is offered gently, without urgency or expectation.

    Postpartum closing of the bones
    In-home postpartum ceremony

The Closing of the Bones is a traditional postpartum ceremony held to support a woman’s return after birth or significant life transition.

This work has been passed down through traditional midwives in Mexico and Guatemala and is held as a complete, time-honoured sequence. It recognises birth as a threshold - one that moves a woman outward and then calls her back in again.

When a birth is intense, interrupted, or unresolved, that return does not always happen on its own. Many women carry sensations of openness, fragmentation, or incompletion long after birth has passed.

This ceremony offers a way of gently gathering the body, tending what has been opened, and marking the transition that has taken place.

The process unfolds slowly and in stages, working with warmth, touch, rhythm, and containment. Each phase supports the body to soften, release held tension, and gradually return to itself.

    The ceremony may include:

    • Mayan abdominal massage

    • Herbal bathing for sweating and release

    • A closing sequence using the rebozo to bring containment and grounding

This work is held in your home, with time allowed to tend to your little ones

    This ceremony may be received:

    • In the weeks or months following birth

    • After an early birth or pregnancy loss

    • To acknowledge a difficult or interrupted birth

    • Or to honour a significant life transition

There is no ideal timing. In many traditions, a woman is considered postpartum for life, and deserving of care long after birth has passed.

Please allow approximately 3-4 hours for our time together.

Placenta medicine is a traditional practice held to honour the placenta as part of the birth journey — recognising the role it has played in nourishing and sustaining life.

    • Tincture

    • Dehydrated preparations

    • Oils or balms

Placenta medicine can be arranged as a standalone service, or included as part of the Full Postpartum Descent pathway.
