The Hearth.

The Hearth is a place for those who have already studied the Vedic worldview through Rishi, Siddha or equivalent advanced training. Through gatherings and more intimate spaces, we come together to remember what we know and keep the knowledge alive within the context of our actual lives.

The Hearth is a place for those who have already spent time studying the Vedic worldview, and want somewhere to keep living in relationship with it.

There is a difference between knowing the knowledge and recognising it in the terrain of our own lives. The Hearth brings Vedic wisdom into conversation with the principles of traditional midwifery; an understanding of the rhythms of nature, the intelligence of transition, and the importance of recognising where we are so that we can meet life with less resistance. As life moves through its many seasons, the knowledge becomes something to return to again and again, each time from somewhere new.

The Hearth is a home for that ongoing relationship. A place to remember what we already know, to ask new questions, to hear from others who share this worldview, and to keep exploring what it means to live the knowledge within the fullness of our own lives.

Monthly Gatherings.

The Monthly Gatherings are a space to spend time with the Vedic knowledge we already share. Rather than arriving with a set curriculum, each gathering begins with what is present in the room: the questions we’re sitting with, the experiences we’re having, and the parts of the knowledge we want to understand or remember more deeply.

From there, the conversation unfolds through the Veda. We’ll revisit teachings from our advanced trainings, explore concepts together and bring the knowledge into the context of what we are actually living. There will always be space to share and hear from each other, but the knowledge remains at the centre. These Gatherings are a simple way to stay in an active relationship with what we have studied, rather than allowing it to become something we once learned and slowly forgot.

Seasonal Circle.

Eight weeks of gathering closely.

There are times when the movement in our lives becomes particularly deep. We might find ourselves in an ending, an unknown, at the beginning of something new, or simply aware that life is changing and we are being asked to change with it.

Seasonal Circle is an intimate eight-week container for those times. Drawing together Vedic wisdom and the principles of midwifery, we’ll slow down and explore the terrain of The Unknown, Becoming, Tending and Letting Go; learning to recognise where we are, understand the intelligence of that particular season, and meet it with less resistance.

The same small group will gather every fortnight, returning to the Vedic knowledge we already share and bringing it into the season that’s unfolding. This isn’t about trying to move ourselves through a season more quickly, but understanding where we are well enough to inhabit it fully, use what it is offering us, and perhaps fall a little more in love with the wisdom of where we are.

The Details.

Seasonal Circle will run as a small, closed group of no more than six people, meeting four times across eight weeks. Each gathering will explore one of our four themes — The Unknown, Becoming, Tending and Letting Go — with plenty of space for conversation, questions and for each person to explore the season they find themselves in. Between gatherings, we’ll stay connected through a private WhatsApp group, where Sarah will share occasional reflections, voice notes, readings or teachings to carry with you into the weeks between.

Melbourne

We’ll meet in person at my home in Cheltenham for three hours every fortnight. We’ll have plenty of time to settle in, share food and tea, explore the knowledge and be together without needing to rush anywhere afterwards.

Fireside.

One-to-one support

For those wanting to sit more closely with something in their life or within the knowledge, Fireside offers the opportunity to work privately with Sarah, one-to-one.

This might look like exploring a particular theme or area of Vedic knowledge, with Sarah creating a small course of study specifically for you, or more personal support in understanding the terrain you find yourself in and navigating a period of transition or change.

Begin with a single 90-minute Fireside session. Sessions can stand alone, or become a longer series where more time together would be supportive.

Once your payment is received, you will be invited to make a time of your choosing.
